Immune Support Cancerous or Benign – Mast Cell Tumor (Mastocytoma), Cytoma (cystic tumor) skin, lungs, nose, mouth, trunk, limbs, paw, tail. External & internal

May be of benefit for Connective tissue growths. They are also associated with “allergic” reactions, since they contain several types of dark granules made up of various chemicals, including histamine and heparin, serving biologically to modify immune reactions and inflammation.

  • May be of benefit for a Mastocytoma or Mast cell tumor (MCT) – is a type of round-cell tumor consisting of mast cells. Mast cells play an important role in your dog’s immune system, fighting infection and playing a part in “allergic” reactions.
  • Mast cells produce histamine, which, in the right quantities, is essential for the dog’s normal response of inflammation. However, when mast cells mutate and begin to replicate in higher than normal numbers, mast cell tumors can form. Cells that reside in the connective tissues, especially those vessels and nerves that are closest to the external surfaces (e.g. soft tissue growths appear anywhere on  the trunk and limbs, nose, mouth, paw, genital areas or lungs, stomach).
  • The use of naturopathic remedies, may often prevent amputation, euthanasia or surgical intervention.

    Mast Cell Tumor (Mastocytoma)

A mastocytoma or mast cell tumor is a type of round-cell tumor consisting of mast cells. … Disseminated mastocytosis is rarely seen in young dogs and cats, while mast cell tumors are usually skin tumors in older dogs and cats. Although not always malignant, they do have the potential to be however.

    • Mast cells is that they produce histamine, which, in the right quantities, is essential for the dog’s normal response of inflammation. However, when mast cells mutate and begin to replicate in higher than normal numbers, mast cell tumors can form.

Cells that reside in the connective tissues, especially those vessels and nerves that are closest to the external surfaces e.g., soft tissue growths appear anywhere on  the trunk and limbs  nose, mouth, paw, genital areas or lungs, stomach.

Mast cell tumors are sometimes referred to as “the great imposters,” because there is no way to definitively identify them without a biopsy and pathology report.  Although they are most frequently found on the trunks and limbs of dogs.

Mast cells are derived from the bone marrow, and can be found in various tissues throughout the body. Most common tumors of dogs, accounting for up to 20 to 25 percent of skin tumors in dogs are mast cell tumors, with a similar number of cats.

You can avoid invasive things like:  Using drugs prior to surgery, Radiotherapy to work on lump, Radical surgery such as limb amputation (if the suspicion of an aggressive tumor in an tricky place is high). None of the above are 100% effective or safe or a healthy option for your dog or cat. As to see the margin of cancer cells with the naked eye is impossible. When using a topical herbal paste, this only activates and dissolves toxic cells and leaves health cells alone.  So no cancer cell ever gets missed.

    Connective Tissue Tumors

Mast cells are cells that reside in the connective tissues, especially those vessels and nerves that are closest to the external surfaces (e.g., skin, lungs, nose, mouth).

Soft Tissue Sarcomas comprise  – 15% of all skin / subcutaneous (under the skin) tumors. Mast cells are cells that reside in the connective tissues, especially those vessels and nerves that are closest to the external surfaces e.g. … skin, lungs, nose, mouth.

Their primary functions include defense against parasitic infestations, tissue repair, and the formation of new blood vessels (angiogenesis). They are also associated with allergic reactions, since they contain several types of dark granules made up of various chemicals, including histamine and heparin, serving biologically to modify immune reactions and inflammation.

Mast cells are derived from the bone marrow and can be found in various tissues throughout the body.

Can been found in commonly in –

Boxers, Bulldogs, Pugs, Boston Terriers, Beagles, Bullmastiffs, Bull Terriers, Dachshunds, English Setters, Fox Terriers, Golden Retrievers, Labrador Retrievers, Schnauzers, American & English Staffordshire Terriers, and Weimaraners.

Although Boxers, bulldogs, pugs, and Boston terriers appear to be more susceptible to mast cell tumors than other breeds. The mean age for the development of this condition is eight years in dogs, though it has been reported in animals less than one year of age.

The “grade” refers to how likely the MCT is to be malignant. The higher the grade, the more serious the tumor, with grade I being the lowest and grade III being the highest.

    • Grade I: Occur in the skin & are considered benign. Although they may be large and difficult to remove, they tend to not spread to other areas of the body. Most MCTs are Grade I.
      * Far easier and less stress to surgery, options to work internally balancing and detoxing with herbs and homeopathy.  So tumour stays non cancerous and body is healthier.
    • Grade II:   Extend below the skin into the subcutaneous tissues. Their cells show some characteristics of malignancy and their response to treatment can be unpredictable.
Options to surgery is to dissolve all cancer cells by applying  topical treatment over a period of 4 weeks, small area at a time, in conjunction with Naturopathic internal formulas to detox and boost immune system. Or if already gone through surgery, continue healing so tumours do not grow back (which can be an issue with conventional methods)
    • Grade III:   Invade areas deep below the skin, are very aggressive, and require more involved treatment.

    Symptoms and Types
Symptoms may be dependent on the location and grade of the tumor. Tumor on the skin or under the skin (subcutaneous), may have been present for days to months. A tumor may appear to fluctuate in size. Recent rapid growth after months of inactive or subtle growth is common  Recent onset of redness and fluid build-up is most common with high-grade skin and subcutaneous tumors. Extremely variable; may mimic or resemble other types of skin or subcutaneous tumors (benign and cancer); may resemble an insect bite, wart, or allergic reaction.

Primarily occurs as a single skin mass or subcutaneous mass, but may have multiple masses located throughout the body.
Approximately 50 percent of all mast cell tumors are located on the trunk and perineum (the area between the anus and vulva in females, or the anus and scrotum in males); 40 percent are found on the extremities, such as the paw; and 10 percent are found in the head and neck region.

~ Lymph nodes may be enlarged around the area of the tumor and may develop when a high-grade tumor spreads to the lymph nodes
~ Masses may be itchy or inflamed due to the higher level of histamines in the tumor
~ Enlarged liver and enlarged spleen are characteristic of widespread mast cell cancer
~ Vomiting, loss of appetite, and/or diarrhea may occur, depending on the stage of the disease.

Depending on the location and the stage of the tumor, other symptoms can occur.

For example, if the tumors are near the lungs, breathing problems or coughing can occur.

    Other common symptoms include

…   bleeding, which lead to trouble with wound healing, swollen lymph nodes or high blood pressure. Fine to use some or all as needed natural medicine support – use at the same time to get results for your beloved pet.
